Yellow lines indicate wards, also shows railroads, ferries, bridges, the Harlem River Bulkhead and Pier Line, Ellis Island, many buildings on Blackwells, Wards, and Randalls Islands, and many other interesting things. This map captures the city during a time of rapid expansion and change. It was printed on light-weight paper and has been archivally restored- cleaned and backed with light-weight archival paper for structural support. Very good restored condition with some slight waviness to the antique paper, some minor wrinkles are still visible, tight and expanded margin on both sides, some minor stains remain.
