1872
Maker: Asher & Adams.
Antique hand colored map from Asher & Adams' New Statistical and Topographical Atlas of the United States, 1872. Delineates rivers, landings, railroads, stations, distances, etc., and shows populations of cities and villages containing 300,000 inhabitants and upwards, as well as populations of counties. Overall fair to poor condition with some edge wear, paper loss, small tears, seam separation along center fold, overall light toning, and a few spots of foxing. Many of the tears have been repaired with archival tape and paper loss filled in with antique paper. This map will look nice when framed because most of the imperfections are at the edges. Priced based on condition. Approx. 16 x 23 inches to the neatline.
