1875
Maker: Everts & Stewart
Double-sided antique page of maps published in the Combination Atlas Map of Mercer County New Jersey by Everts & Stewart, 1875. The centerfold map shows the first and fifth wards of the city of Trenton. On verso: one side is a map of Washington Township and on the other side is a map of the second ward of Trenton and a plan of Millham. Millham was an independent municipality in Mercer County, New Jersey, that existed from 1882 to 1888 and was annexed by Trenton in 1888. The Top Road and East Trenton sections of the city represent the former township. The Washington Township map shows home and property owners' names (densely populated areas enlarged separately). But the Trenton maps mostly show public buildings and businesses. Good to very good antique condition with toning, some minor spots/stains, and wear and tears mostly at the paper edges. Verso maps measure approx. 17 x 14 inches to the paper edges, centerfold map is approx. 16 x 26.75 inches to the neatline.
