Maker: Valentine's Manual

Antique color lithograph print published in D. T. Valentine's 1868 manual of New York City, shows a view of stylish five-story corner houses built on the site of P.T. Barnum's famous American Museum. Barnum's Museum was filled wit rare and interesting specimens, artifacts, and oddities to educate and excite the general public, however in 1865 it was tragically lost to a fire. Good condition, approximately 8.5 x 5.5" to the paper edges.
