Antique hand-colored map of Ghent, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, railroads, topography, and some points of interest (e.g. Ghent Paper Co., Hay Press, Friends Meetinghouse, German Lutheran Church & Cemetery, etc.) Original hand-coloring by district, with labeled district numbers. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some very minor wrinkling of the paper, and areas of very minor spots/foxing. With fold at the right, as issued. Measures approx. 16" x 15" to the neatline, with no neatline along the bottom and very tight margins at the top and bottom on the right side of the map.
