Antique hand-colored map of the city of Hudson, New York, from the Atlas of Columbia County, New York, by Beers, Ellis & Co. 1888. Shows names of property owners at the time of publication, railroads, and some points of interest (e.g. courthouse, armory, fairgrounds, Hudson Cemetery, Hudson Academy, Pearsons Fertilizer Works, House of Refuge for Women, etc.) Original hand-coloring by ward, with labeled ward numbers. Very good antique condition with mild toning overall, some very minor wrinkling of the paper, and areas of some soiling/staining. Measures approx. 11.25" x 15" to the neatline, with the map extending slightly beyond the neatline at the upper right.
