Specialty reproduction of Rome, Italy based on an antique map by Matthaeus Merian in 1638. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press, onto antique paper. Black and white. Could be hand-colored for an additional cost. Measures approx. 12 x 27.5 inches to the neatline.
