High-quality hand-printed and hand colored reproduction of an antique print of a ship, October 31, 1748. The ship was captured by the British in the First Battle of Cape Finisterre, 3rd May 1747. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press. It is then hand-colored. Has some imperfections in the paper to make it look more authentic. Approx. 18 x 22 inches to the border line.
