Antique map of part of Brookline, MA from the Atlas of the Town of Brookline, Massachusetts. Published by G.M. Hopkins, 1884. Includes Chestnut St, Walnut St, High St, and Pond Ave. With part of what is now Olmsted Park. These maps were created for tax and insurance purposes and the buildings are coloured by type- the color key is included on each plate. Each property is labelled with the property owner's name. This map shows roads, railroads, public spaces, bodies of water, etc. North is oriented to the right. Very good condition with mild toning that is a bit darker at the paper edges, slight wrinkles near the center fold. Measures approx. 17.5 x 27.5 inches to the paper edges.
