Map is surrounded by extensive information, written in French, regarding bodies of water, climates, mountains, political divisions, colonization of the countries by Europeans, etc. With fold, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, some foxing at the outer edges, and one larger area of foxing to the left of the map of North America. Measures approximately 18" x 25.25" to the neatline.
