Very small antique hand colored map of North America, Central America, and the Caribbean, written in French, by Maire, 1821. The United States stretches as far west as the Mississippi River, Greenland is attached to North America, scale is incorrect throughout, etc. Map is colored by countries of ownership at the time. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning and some foxing/water stains (mainly outside of the neatline.) Measures approximately 3.75" x 4" (H x W) to the neatline.
