Antique print showing a scene of the side of the French Broad River (in North Carolina and Tennessee). Recent hand-coloring. Image is in very good condition with some mild toning/foxing of the paper. From William Cullen Bryant's classic 1872 work, "Picturesque America." Image measures approximately 9" x 6.25". Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
