Antique hand-colored map of Dakota Territory from Mitchell's 1885 New General Atlas. This map shows North and South Dakota before they were separated into two states. Shows railways, political boundaries, cities, water bodies, as well as land features. Includes towns with names. Colored by county with some early county lines. This map is in very good antique condition with minor overall toning. Some wear at paper edges. Paper is a bit fragile. It measures approximately 15 x 12 inches to the outer neatline. There is no outer border line on the right side.
