Antique hand-colored map of Minnesota and part of the Dakota Territory. Shows early counties, towns, cities, the Northern Route of the Proposed Pacific Railroad  (as proposed by Gov. Stevens), some information about the Native American Indian peoples of Dakota Territory, common roads, and some topography. Good condition, paper is toned with stains at the paper edges and some mild spots and stains in the map, approx. 12.25 x 15.5 inches to the decorative border.
