Genuine Antique Printed Color Map
1876
Maker: U.S. Light-House Service
Thirteenth Lighthouse District. Antique printed color chart of lighthouses along the coasts of Washington, Oregon, and a portion of Northern California, published in the Annual Report of the Light-House Board of the United States to the Secretary of the Treasury, showing all light houses, light ships, and the arcs of illumination for major lights, as well as a key to the kind and color of light, such as Fixed Red, Flashing White, etc. This chart does not have any year printed on it, which we believe means it is the first edition of the map (later editions always have the "corrected to" date printed near the title). With fold, as issued. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning and some slight separation along the fold at paper edges. Measures approximately 7.75" x 9.5" (H x W) to the neatline.
Genuine Antique Chart from 1876.
