Antique uncolored engraving of a view of the location where John André (hanged as a spy by the Continental Army for assisting Benedict Arnold's attempted surrender of the fort at West Point, New York, to the British) was taken prisoner in Broome, New York, NY, with text. From the Historical Collections of New York, by J.W. Barber, coauthored by Henry Howe, 1841. Could be hand colored by our professional colorist for an additional cost. Good to very good condition with mild signs of age. Can be folded to hide text for framing. Page measures approximately 9" x 5.5" (H x W)
