Antique page of illustrations from The Illustrated London News, October 20, 1849. Shows grape gathering and the grape cart in the making of Tuscan wine. The first line of the article reads "Tuscany has been styled the Paradise of Bacchus; and it would almost exhaust language to describe its luxuriant and picturesque beauty." Very good condition with minor signs of age. Could be hand-colored by our professional colorist for an additional cost (please contact us if interested). Page measures approx. 16 x 11.25 inches.
