Maker: Illustrated London News
Antique page of illustrations from The Illustrated London News, June 14, 1851. The Crystal Palace was a cast iron and plate glass structure, originally built in Hyde Park, London, to house the Great Exhibition of 1851. Very good condition with minor signs of age. Slight misprint at bottom due to a small fold in the paper when it was printed. Could be hand-colored by our professional colorist for an additional cost (please contact us if interested). Page measures approx. 16 x 11.25 inches.
Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
