High-quality hand-printed and hand colored reproduction of an antique print of ships with a chart of the winds and other navigational tools. The ships are labeled and the text is in French. Made using a combination of modern technology and traditional methods, wherein an original is scanned, its likeness is digitally etched onto an engraving plate, then the plate is used to print the image in the traditional way, with a printing press. It is then hand colored, border is colored with metallic gold ink. Visible plate mark. Approx. 20.5 x 15.25 inches to the image border.
