This antique, hand-colored geological map of Pennsylvania was drawn by Thomas C. Porter, Professor of Botany in Lafayette College, and was published in the 1872 "New Topographical Atlas of the State of Pennsylvania with Descriptions Historical, Scientific, and Statistical," by Walling and Gray. This map shows counties, major geological formations, and details flora distribution delineated by color. This piece is in Very good overall antique condition overall, with some toning, and measures approximately 17.5 x 14 inches.
