Antique pictorial map of Italy by Ernest Dudley Chase, 1935. This map features beautifully detailed illustrations of beloved locations and notable edifices. Additional illustrations of buildings decorate the sides. The seas are filled with an imaginative variety of sea monsters and ships. A highly collectible map. Original color. This map has been dry mounted on a board. Good antique condition with some uneven coloration at bottom and some tears at the paper edges that were closed when the map was mounted. Matted- mat was stuck down to map and the surface of the paper has slightly torn away at the edges. Signed by Ernest Dudley Chase in pencil at bottom. Measures approx. 21.5 x 17 inches.
