The detailed border features crests of the University and the "worthies" in order of age from stone age man to Lord Nuffield. An alphabetical key in the lower right lists the buildings numbered on the map. This map appears to be hand-colored and includes some sparkling gold paint as well. This map is full of interesting details to enjoy. Good original condition with some toning, some archivally repaired tears at top, some slight waviness to the old paper.
