Antique printed-color pictorial map of Massachusetts, by Ernest Dudley Chase (a life-long Massachusetts resident), c. 1963. Includes a variety of interesting notes, illustrations, and vignettes. Inset map shows greater Boston. This map is part of a travel brochure and it includes a great deal of travel information on the verso. Very good overall antique condition with some wear along the folds that has resulted in small holes at some of the fold intersections. The back side is stamped with information about two businesses in Hadley, Mass. Map is undated but the names of the Governor of Massachusetts and the Commissioner suggest that this was published in the early 1960s. With folds, as issued. Ships folded along pre-existing folds. Total sheet size is 21.5 x 34 inches.
