Antique pictorial map of Cape Cod by F.J. Miller, c. 1950. This handsome map features a decorative border with fishermen, sunbathers, clammers, golfers, lighthouses, Cape Cod houses, lobstermen, sailboats, and more. The map shows towns and villages, with major roads and a few illustrated embellishments, such as the Pilgrim Monument in Provincetown. It maintains its vibrant original red, white, and blue color scheme with the line detail in a dark teal. This map is in good antique condition with some minor damage to the paper edges, a stain in the upper left corner that is hardly noticeable, and a waviness to the paper that may relax as it is kept flat. Measures approx. 22.25 x 33.25 inches to the paper edges.
