The map is bordered by names of notable people and views of notable and historical buildings. Two inset maps show the Capital of Virginia in 1779 and Virginia's Historic Rivers. The small map at bottom shows Virginia's largest claimed extent. This map is in fair condition with some light stains, some vertical wrinkles in lower left, and some damage at the paper edges. Wonderful original color. Measures approx. 20 x 27 inches to the neatline. Could be restored for an additional cost.
