Antique printed color map of the western United States showing the movements of the Mormons from 1846-47 as they migrated west seeking a new home and freedom of religion. By J. Rulon Hales, and published in 1947, this map includes illustrated depictions of various important Mormon events, such as the mustering of the Mormon battalion. The map also includes many other notable western trails, such as the Oregon trail, the pony express trail, the Lewis & Clark trail, and the trail taken by most 49ers. Very good condition. Approx. 19 x 29 inches to the edge of the rope border.
