Antique hand colored map of Puerto Rico by E.B.K. Dooley, published c. 1931. This map features a decorative border filled with local flora, fauna, buildings, and transportation. Text in small scrolls describes notable events. This map is undated but it features the flag of Spain that was in use until 1931 and also depicts a Zeppelin that passed over the island in 1930. This scarce map seems to have been printed on rice paper or something similar. Good condition with some water staining, overall wrinkling, and a tear at bottom that goes through the border (it appears to have been mended with archival tape). Approx. 14 x 19.5 inches to the neatline. **SOLD**
