Includes decorative cartouche, compass rose, illustrated ships and animals in the waters, and points of interest (Old North Church, Faneuil Hall, Old State House, Old South Church, Province House, Beacon Hill, Fort Hill, The Common, etc.) Map has illustrations of historical moments as a border at its sides, showing the Boston Tea Party, the dinner given for General Lafayette in Faneuil Hall, Benjamin Franklin as an apprentice printer, etc.) Very good overall antique condition with some mild toning, and minor roughing of the outer edges.
