Hand Colored Genuine Antique Illustration

c. 1840

Maker: Barber.

Antique black and white engraved illustration showing an old house in Scituate, Massachusetts, with surrounding page of text. I was unable to determine if this home still exists, but at the time it was owned by Captain S. P. Barker and it was originally built by John Williams supposedly in 1634, according to the text. Very good overall antique condition with some mild waviness of the paper and some areas of very minor foxing/toning. Text could be folded back for framing. Page measures approximately 5.5" x 9" (H x W) in total. Could be colored by our professional colorist for an additional $25.
