Antique map showing part of Eastern Europe, specifically the southern tip of Crimea, during the Crimea War, published in the Illustrated London News on December 1, 1855. The Crimean War (1854-56) was fought by an alliance of Britain, France, Turkey and Sardinia against Russia. Includes Sevastopol, Simferopol, and the Black Sea. With topography and notes about the locations of British Troops, French Troops, Sardinians, and Russians. Good antique condition with slight toning and stains. Measures approx. 14.25 x 9.25 inches to the neatline.

Note: any "rainbows" or strange patterns in the image are called moire pattern- caused by taking a digital photo or scan of the many parallel lines in the print- these are not in the print and we can try to take more photos if you are concerned.
