Antique hand colored map of the northern portion of Scotland from the bottom of the Western Islands to the top of the Orkney Islands. Colored by county (or shire) with towns, some roads, and topographic information. Also includes the View of the Island of Staffa in the upper left corner. This is the mate to EUR1873. Good to very good condition with minor image transfer (this is the cause of the light brown toning in places), some other minor light marks, and white tape on upper corners on back side. Approx. 19.75 x 23 inches to the neatline. Visible plate mark.
