Antique woodcut engraving print published in Picturesque Europe by W. W. May, Ship floundering in rough seas with castle in background. Tantallon Castle is a ruined mid-14th-century fortress, located 5 kilometres east of North Berwick, in East Lothian, Scotland. It sits atop a promontory opposite the Bass Rock, looking out onto the Firth of Forth. Very good condition with minimal signs of age as pictured. Measures approximately 8" x 11" to just outside the printed image including text.
