This colored antique map was published in Letts's 1883 Popular Atlas, Being a Series of Maps Delineating the Whole Surface of the Globe, with Many Special and Original Features. This map shows the northern part of Scotland, including Aberdeen. Inset gives the former names by which the principal divisions of the country were known. Showing major points of interest and geological features, it measures approximately 15.5 x 14 inches and is in very good antique condition with some toning and foxing and discoloration at center fold, and there are tears along the edges outside of the neatline.
