Dr. Robert Zaremba will use his 30 year knowledge of antiques to appraise your specific items. He charges $75.00 per hour with a minimum of 1 hour. An appraisal is most frequently used for tax or insurance purposes. You will receive a signed appraisal, either digitally or by mail (your choice). It is important that the item be present for your appraisal, as photographs do not allow for proper analysis of ink type or paper, so we will need to examine the item in person. Most appraisers will let you know whether or not your maps are worth appraising before beginning the process.
