Antique map of South Africa from The Times Atlas, published by "The Times" in 1900. This map gives a look at South Africa and the region, as it was at the time; Regions are separated into the Great Namaqualand, Little Namaqualand, Brittish Bechuanaland, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, South African Republic, and Gaza Country. Regions are colored to designate political ownership (Brittish, German and Portugese Posessions.) A small inset image of wales is included to provide scale when compared against the general map. Includes notable cities such as Cape Town, Bloemfontein, Pretoria, among others. Very good antique condition, with minor foxing in margins. Original printed color. Measures approximately 9.25 inches by 14.5 inches, as measured to the neatline.
