Antique uncolored map showing parts of the Kerguelen Islands, also known as the Desolation Islands, by Bonne and Desmarest, published in the 1787 Atlas Encyclopedique. With inset maps of Port Palliser, the Haven of Noel, and the Prince Edward Islands (part of South Africa). Very good condition with light image transfer, a small bit of paper loss at bottom edge, and a few light spots/stains. Approx. 9.25 x 13.5 inches to the neatlines.
