Antique hand-colored map of what is now part of Guyana, all of Surinam, and French Guiana, with a bit of Brazil, published in the Atlas portatif pour servir a l'intelligence de l'Histoire philosophique et politique des etablissemens et du commerce des Européens dans les deux Indes (Portable atlas to help understand the philosophical and political history of European settlements and trade in the two Indias.) by E. van Harrevelt, D.J. Changuion, 1773. This map was made in 1773 by taking a portion of the map of America by Danville and enlarging it. Very good condition with toning at edges and a spot in the lower border. Has center fold as issued. Visible plate mark. Approx. 8.5 x 11.25 inches to the neatline.
