Antique hand colored map of South America, in French, by Tardieu, 1860. Map is colored by country at the time of publication and includes topographical detail, names of major cities, etc. Features a simple, but decorative border. With fold, as issued. Good to Very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout, some areas of noticeable foxing (nearly entirely outside the neatline,) and a small seam separation at the left side which does not affect the map itself. Measures approximately 16.75" x 13.25" (H x W) to the neatline.
