Antique report chart showing part of the Atlantic coast from Cape Fear in North Carolina to Jacksonville in Florida. Includes Frying Pan Shoals, Smithville, Georgetown, Charleston, Savannah, Brunswick, Fernandina, Jacksonville, and the many islands along the coast such as Hilton Head, Sapelo Island, Amelia Island, etc. Published in the Annual Report by the U.S. Coast Survey in 1879. With folds, as issued. Good to very good overall antique condition with mild toning throughout which is heavier at the folds and a couple minor tears. Measures approximately 21.25 x 36 inches to the neatline.
