Antique chart of the entrance of North Edisto River in South Carolina, published in 1856 by the US Coast Survey. This chart includes part of Edisto Island, Seabrook Island, Rockville, and more. Has water depths in feet or fathoms, distances in nautical miles, a key to the abbreviations, a tide table, and sailing directions. Very good condition with toning of the antique paper, folds as issued, tight margin on the left side due to the map being originally bound into a book. Recent coloring. Approx. 17.25 x 14 inches to the neatline.
