Hand colored antique coast chart of Bulls Bay in South Carolina, 1859. Located north of Charleston, SC, Bulls Bay is now a popular area for boating and fishing. This map includes Bulls Island and the newly built lighthouse a Cape Romain (built in 1857). Features detailed soundings and bathymetric data, as well as information on Light Houses, Tides, and sailing directions. Recent hand coloring. With folds as issued. Very good antique condition with some foxing and minor toning especially at the fold lines. Measures approx. 17 x 21.75 inches to the neatline.
