Antique black and white map of a portion of the Maldives, a large group of islands in the Indian Ocean. Includes a decorative cartouche and compass rose. Published by Bellin, in "L'Histoire Generale des Voyages," 1758. With folds, as issued. Visible plate mark. Very good overall antique condition with mild toning of the paper and a mild stain. Measures approximately 8.5" x 6" to the neatline.
