Rare map of the Strait of Malacca, which runs between Mayasia and Indonesia and Singapore, by Pieter Van der Aa, published c. 1720. Singapore is not labeled but the Strait of Singapore is noted on the map, and the area is colored differently. North is oriented to the upper right on this map. Decorative cartouche. Very good antique condition with some tiny mild spots. Measures approx. 10.25 x 6 inches to the neatline.
