Antique hand-colored map of a portion the south eastern United States (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and a portion of Florida,) By Mitchell, in "Mitchell's School and Family Geography," 1839. Includes railroad lines and some topographical detail. Very good condition with some minor stains mostly in the margin. Measures approximately 10.5" x 16.25" to the neatline.
