High quality reproduction of an antique map showing the Southern United States, from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay to Georgia, this map includes settlements such as Jamestown (est. 1609) and Newport News (est. 1621). Based on a Mercator-Hondius map of 1606, with improvements such as a better proportioned Outer Banks in North Carolina. Simulated plate mark. Printed area measures approximately 15" x 19.75" (H x W). Measured to the edges of the printed area. Paper may be larger but can be trimmed as needed.
