Antique black and white map of the city of Madrid, Spain, published by the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, 1831. Map shows general overview of city blocks with the names of major streets, some topographical detail, points of interest, etc. Written in Spanish, with a reference for English. At the bottom of the map are illustrations of notable historic architecture in Madrid. Good overall antique condition with mild wrinkling, a few minor creases, a couple tears at the edges (which have been archivally repaired, and some staining at the right of the map.
