Antique map of Boston published in Lett's Popular Atlas, circa 1884. Includes South Boston, East Boston, Charlestown, and Boston Proper with part of Back Bay. Concentric circles radiate out from City Hall in quarter miles. A list of Public Buildings &c corresponds to numbers within the map. Original printed color wash. Center fold as issued. Very good antique condition with toning. This map is matted and was not protected by UV glass, so the toning is slightly lighter at the paper edges. Measures approx. 15.25 x 12.5 inches to the neatline and 22 x 18.5 inches to the outer edges of the mat.
