Antique hand colored map of South Boston and Dorchester from the 1874 Suffolk County Atlas Vol. 3 by G.M. Hopkins & Co. The pink-red letters designate on which plate in the atlas one would find each area, with larger letters referring to map that show more land. Includes roads, railroads, and the South Bay fill area with apparently proposed roads. Good antique condition with some minor spots, some toning particularly at the paper edges, and a small seam separation at bottom that goes up to the border. Approx. 15 x 24 inches to the neatline with portions of the map spilling out into the margins
