Antique page of illustrations from The Illustrated London News, February 8, 1851. This was the expedition led by Erasmus Galton and on the back side of the page is an article with excerpts from Galton's journal. This was around the time that mountaineering was gaining more interest. Very good condition with minor signs of age including some mild stains. Page measures approx. 16 x 11.25 inches.
