Antique hand colored map of the Adriatic Sea and Dalmatian Coast and its surrounding countries (Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Slovenia, etc.) as they existed in the 'Ancient World', written in Latin. Reference for scale is given in Roman Miles. Map is in very good condition with some toning/foxing of the paper. Map by Dr. Samuel Butler, published in An Atlas of Ancient Geography, 1838. Measures approximately 7.25" x 9.25" to the neatline.
